jfruh (300774) writes "There's a very cheery story that you can tell about the mobile world: all of the market that isn't owned by Apple is being dominated by open source Android and open standards ARM chips. In reality, it's not that simple. Most people know that most of the market share and nearly all of the profits in Android are going to a single company, Samsung. Less obvious, but just as important if not more so, is that the ARM chip market is being similarly dominated by Qualcomm."
