+ - Cydia Substrate ported to Android from iOS->

Submitted by EGSonikku
EGSonikku (519478) writes "Cydia creator Jay Freeman (Saurik) has long been known in the iOS Jailbreaking community, but now he's taking on Android and has released a port of Cydia Substrate on the Google Play Store.

The idea is that instead of developing for one ROM or launcher, one can instead develop for Substrate and deploy on any device. Full documentation and downloads available.

Is this the end of needing custom ROMs or launchers on Android?"
