Customers across Europe complained of downtime, whilst GoDaddy.com itself was knocked offline for periods yesterday. There was a "large-scale attack on our European Internet infrastructure", said Go Daddy communications manager Nick Fuller. As witnessed in the Spamhaus attacks of March, it appears the continuing growth in DDoS attack size and prevalence are causing carnage for even the biggest firms.
The rule on staying alive as a forecaster is to give 'em a number or
