dubme (1907388) writes "Friends of the Earth have opened up another battlefront with manufacturers — having long criticised companies like Apple for their poor record on materials used and recyclability of their iPhones and iPads, the campaigners are highlighting the impact the choice of suppliers can make. Samsung has been forced to admit its tin suppliers used mining methods that damaged tropical forest, killed coral and disrupted communities living in Indonesia."
