SubGhandi (231617) writes "Today, the crackerjack staff at Slashdot decided to render it's content unreadable to visitors. It started as some sort of ruse in order to get people to log in, in order to be able to read the desired content, but ran amok when logging in was found to not remedy the situation. The Slashdot staff has decided that the next step should be a Ddos attack on its own webservers, and then Hari Kari afterwards..."
