msm1267 (2804139) writes "Vulnerabilities in industrial control systems that monitor everything from building maintenance to traffic cameras are bubbling to the surface as more of them are integrated with the digital backend systems. As one expert points out, it's easy to point a web app security scanner at a Web-based application to find security holes; that's not the case with embedded physical surveillance and monitoring systems that don't go through the same security rigor and testing as applications do."
