The Free Software Foundation, Red Hat, Mozilla and the Electronic Frontier Foundation are organizations who appear to be on the right side of the issues, but out of that group, only Red Hat is a for-profit company. Where are all the for-profit companies that are imbued with the Hacker Ethic?"
