+ - CloudFlare DNS goes down, takes nearly a million websites with it

Submitted by Nexus Unplugged
Nexus Unplugged (2495076) writes "Content Delivery Network and DNS provider CloudFlare was unavailable for about an hour early this morning, affecting the likes of Wikileaks, 4chan, Cydia, some Philippine government sites, and their own site. A TechCrunch article discussing the outage points out that "CloudFlare generates so many pageviews that it would be the tenth [largest] website in the world." The problem was quickly confirmed on Twitter, and service was restored shortly thereafter."
