Submission Company Introduces 180TB Storage Pod

adeelarshad82 writes: Backblaze, company known to most people as an online backup service, has recently introduced their third iteration of the Storage Pod. The new Storage Pod is capable of holding 180TB of data; up from 135TB. What's incredible is that the cost per gigabyte is as little as $0.06; bringing the overall cost of the drive to only $11,000. A video released by the company highlights a number of improvements in the new Storage Pod, namely support for multiple 2.5 inch storage drives as well as replacement of anti-vibration sleeves which allows for the drives to be popped in and out easily.
