+ - Why Designer Of Linux System Ignoring "Unix Philosophy"?

Submitted by Anonymous Coward
An anonymous reader writes "The Unix philosophy is philosophical approaches to developing software based on the experience of leading developers of the Unix operating system. FLOS (FreeDesktop.org+Linux kernel+OS) is a nearly opposed Unix philosophy design, with design concepts like the, "avoids scripts, prefers to split tasks into compiled logic interacting with logic-less configuration files, ease of machine manipulability over human manipulability, communication over D-Bus rather than sockets/pipes, features specific to Linux (Gnome3 uses technologies that are not available to BSDs )and ignores portability and so on.""
