+ - Google Executive charged with embezzelment in Austrian Telekom Trial->

Submitted by

Nuklearwanze writes "Stefan Tweraser, boss of Google Germany, has more to worry, then his current fight against proposed changes in the german telecomunications law — he has now been charged with embezzelment in an ongoing trial surrounding the Austrian Telekom, austrias biggest internet- and telecom-provider.
According to austrian state's atturney Hannes Wandl Stefan Tweraser sidelined more than half a million Euro from Telekom marketing budgets using an elaborate net of marketing companies under his name. At the time Tweraser had been head of marketing at Telekom Austria.
In reaction to those charges Google Germany immediately put Tweraser on "temporary leave"."
