Ploum writes "Ok, the title of this story is a fiction and there are no indication that it could become a reality. Nevertheless, what would happen if Firefox enabled Adblock by default? After all, Adblock is a widely available technology, very popular among power users. It would be a natural evolution to make it accessible for casual users. But wouldn't that change the web completely? How would the Mountain View search engine react? Let's find out"
