An anonymous reader writes "Does anybody else find it kind of odd that we don't have any official internet holidays? Even if there are unofficial internet-holidays out there, they're obviously not well known, and frankly have little to no participants.

Are they too dull to even be worth anyone's time? Are there any? Is there a reason why I shouldn't drive my family to grandma's house to celebrate Google Day, or Freedom of Typing Anything You Want Day?"
