+ - Retailers Bend Amazon's Rules to Discount Kindle Fire->

Submitted by destinyland
destinyland writes: The physical stores that sell Amazon's Kindles aren't allowed to offer discounts, so instead they're bundling them with free "gift cards" on Black Friday worth up to $30. OfficeMax, Staples, Office Depot, and Best Buy have all officially announced their plans for "stealth discounts" on the Kindle (and OfficeMax is also offering a 40% discount on Kindle cases), and Best Buy's discount is $5 higher than the other stores, meaning you can buy a first-generation, 7-inch Kindle Fire for just $129.
