akookieone writes "At PRX we work with podcasters like This American Life, The Moth and 99% invisible, and have seen major increases in bandwidth bills for these podcasts since iOS 6 came out.
While we would like to think this was just a result of our growing fan base, our research shows it is in fact due to a bug introduce in iOS 6.0.0, affecting the Apple Podcasting app and other audio apps. This is a bug costing podcasters serious cash, and no doubt affecting folks with limited data plans."
