+ - New Pharmacological approach: Share first, patent later->

Submitted by Anonymous Coward
An anonymous reader writes "One research scientist,Jay Bradner, forgoes the long wait for patents and payment contracts to get the research into the hands of those that can make it work fast. New discoveries by Big Pharma focuses on the billions first, securing patents, assuring their cut and then thinks about getting drugs to those who need them to live but Dr. Bradner, research scientist at Harvard, gave it away first. It isn't a cure but it is a major hurdle in that goal, one that could have made him a fortune. His contribution has fast-tracked a cure instead of the slow crawl it has been on. Hats off to Jay Bradner"
