+ - EU court rules that sellers can't block resale of downloaded software ->

Submitted by MotorMachineMercenar
MotorMachineMercenar (124135) writes "It's a great day for European used software market: ZDNET reports that "downloaded software can be resold just like software on physical media can, the Court of Justice of the European Union has said in a ruling..."

This should mean that other types of software, including downloadable PSN, Xbox Live, Steam and Origin games, can be resold. Remains to be seen how long it will take for Sony, MS, Valve, EA, et al. to act upon the ruling to allow for resales."
