  • This is probably for the the article describes, miyamoto is one of the most influential game designers in the industry. In the lead role he is currently in, he can lead others in the right direction which is a good thing, but for him to get our more original and creative games it is best to let him do his thing I think. I am really looking forward to what will come out of this.
  • he wants to concentrate on smaller games with younger developers

But of course, that doesn't mean Nintendo will start to work with home-based family businesses the way Microsoft's App Hub (for Xbox Live Indie Games) and Apple's iOS Developer Program (for App Store) do. Nintendo's shunning of home-based developers is well documented.

    • Always thought the requirement of an office was pretty intense, I mean even sony are fairly indie dev friendly!

Is there a page listing SCEA's eligibility requirements for "minis" developers in the same sense as Nintendo's WiiWare requirements []? I tried going to SCEA's TPR site, but it's been down with a "temporary error" for the past six months that I've been checking it.

The first version always gets thrown away.
