+ - Dealing with monkey plagiarism->

million_monkeys writes: The recent 'success' of the virtual million monkey project has highlighted the important issue of whether works created by monkeys (even virtual ones) should be held to the same standard as humans. While Shakespeare's works are in the public domain, monkeys retyping his works and claiming them as their own is a clear case of plagiarism. In order to prevent future occurrences of plagiarism by monkeys, the million monkey spanking project was formed. Spanking all those monkeys is an important step in ensuring that future work produced by monkeys is original.
