Matt_Bennett writes: "Steve Perlman (Quicktime, WebTV) claimsDIDO will break through Shannon's limit by at least 100x and possibly up to 1000x. This is described in a white paper. The technology uses a centralized server to take advantage of constructive and destructive interference to distribute data to multiple users simultaneously."
