mdsolar writes: "Italy has just voted "with more than 98 percent of polling places reporting, 57 percent of eligible Italians voted, exceeding the threshold of more than 50 percent needed for a quorum."

On the ballot were referendum "to ban nuclear power, block cities from selling water companies and prevent [Italian PM] Berlusconi from evading his corruption trials." which are all expected to pass. So, Italy bans nuclear power again by referendum as it previously did after the Chernobyl disaster."
