Workers at a South African information technology company this week proved it was faster for them to transmit data with a carrier pigeon than to send it using Telkom, the country's leading ISP.

  • ...but I have no idea what it means. They don't say how much data they were transferring. Assuming the "data card" they used was a microsd card, it could have been as much as 31+ gigabytes. It'd be interesting if there was a more thorough source available.
