Submitted by kilrathu
kilrathu (1270456) writes "A new open source HTML5 / WebGL tool has been created as a result of a project undertaken by the U.S. Dept of Energy to train Weatherization workers . This technology, called Kuda, is a set of JavaScript libraries that build on Google’s O3D technology by providing a GUI to build interactive 3D environments. It also runs in browser. It allows people to import 3D assets and make them interactive with a simple message handler utility."
