coondoggie writes "The FBI is seeking the public's help in breaking the encrypted code found in two notes discovered on the body of a murdered man in 1999.

The FBI says that officers in St. Louis, Missouri discovered the body of 41-year-old Ricky McCormick on June 30, 1999 in a field and the clues regarding the homicide were two encrypted notes found in the victim's pants pockets."

FBI wants you to solve encrypted notes from murder

  • OK, call me a conspiracy theorist. Who would want/need hand written encrypted notes?

I went an googled "rick mccormick physics" and immediatly got a Physycist specializing in "Metamaterials" from Sandia Labs who presented at a symposium in January 2011.

Anyone else think these may be puzzle pieces that somehow fit together?

Im just saying.... Made me say "hmmmmmm"

    • I don't really see how encrypted notes in a dead guy's pocket would relate directly to his murder (most likely something unrelated, unless there's a Hollywood summer blockbuster serial killer lurking around MO circa 1999)... but googling up a guy with the same name makes no sense whatsoever. So the guy who was killed over a decade ago didn't have a unique name. What does that have to do with anything, man?

Computers can figure out all kinds of problems, except the things in the world that just don't add up.
