How about it?
It seems that the term HTML 5 has been dropped by W3C in favor of the good old classic name HTML.
I like the idea since HTML 5 is "just" a bunch of new features, js libs and amazing workarounds to enable rich content like vector graphics, animations, video and sound.
Things that should have been supported ten years ago.
The name drop of HTML 5 implies a new area of developer driven evolution which is great for the WWW and that has been missed out for so long.
Thanks to Steve Jobs for killing off flash by adding web-kit to mozilla (not that one can't do it your self in PAJ plain ass javascript).
