+ - Solaris and encryption 1

Submitted by Capt.DrumkenBum
Capt.DrumkenBum (1173011) writes "I have spend days searching for a solution to a problem, but I can't find one.

I have a MySql database with not for public consumption data in it, running on a Solaris 10 server using ZFS. I figured for safety I would encrypt the database files, but it seems that there is no way of doing this. ZFS filesystem encryption is pending, Truecrypt is not viable under Solaris. I can't believe this is impossible. Has anyone else found a solution?"
