+-   Channel 4 to broadcast 3d-> on Sunday November 08, @04:43PM fatnickc

fatnickc writes "The UK's Channel 4 are, from the 16th of September, broadcasting a few programmes in 3d, the full list of which can be found at http://www.channel4.com/programmes/themes/3d-week. Whilst the likes of a 3D Miley Cyrus concert aren't exactly groundbreaking, this will give 3d viewing at home much more publicity, paving the way for even more interesting projects in the future. In partnership with retailer Sainsbury's, Channel 4 are producing free 3D glasses (http://www2.sainsburys.co.uk/instoreoffers/free_3d_glasses.htm) so that as many people as pssible can watch them, although it's unclear which of the various types they'll be. Whether those who have glasses and enjoy the show will number more than those who complain about being left out remains to be seen, but it'll certainly give the broadcaster lots of publicity."

Some people manage by the book, even though they don't know who wrote the book or even what book.
