arhhook (995275) writes "The Linux Foundation (LF), the nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of Linux, today announced that Citrix Systems has become its newest member.

Citrix is a leading provider of virtualization; cloud computing, and software as a service (SaaS) offerings for companies worldwide, including 99 percent of Fortune 500 enterprises. Citrix leads the open source Xen® hypervisor project which is based on Linux.

Citrix plans to take advantage of Linux Foundation workgroups and events, including the first-ever LinuxCon, which kicks off next week (September 21 â" 23) in Portland, Oregon (http://events.linuxfoundation.org/events/linuxcon)."
