+ - New contest to find the fastest hardware->

Submitted by

ncaross writes "For the first (and probably only) time ever the world's major hardware manufacturers have combined in a contest to find out who makes the fastest hardware. They've combined with the world's very best overclockers in a Formula 1 style competition which will show casual tech buyers who makes the best hardware as well as who the best overclockers are. F1OC is designed to drive hardware technology forward, to show all level of computer buyers who the best manufacturers are and, hopefully, extend the practice of overclocking. Full description with list of competitors and teams here. Also competing are selected national teams... from countries with top-rated teams. The contest is run by The Overclocker magazine, XtremeSystems and HWBot"
