+ - Germany planning 400 billion euro solar center->

mrwolf007 (1116997) writes "Several large german companies are planning the worlds largest solar center. At an estimated cost of 400 billion euros the center is supposed to provide 15% of the electricity for Europe. The center will be built in Africa and use parabolic mirrors to heat a special oil which in turn powers large turbines. The center is planned to be operational in 10 years.
