...Since that time, it looks like the controller design has cleaned up a bit, although the people who let us mess around with it informed us it still has yet to be finalized...

    (bold was my own)

Ummm .. Nintendo is already churning out systems for a launch date AFTER the PS3's! Shouldn't they already have things "finalized", or is it just me?

And the footage of PS3 launch and near launch games is starting to hit the Net.

    Here's Motorstorm's latest:

Here's what the PS3 boxes and retail units look like:

And Sony's TGS conference starts at 6pm Pacific time today. It sounds like it is going to be insane. Devil May Cry 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, and a ton of other games are all supposed to be shown. From the insane look of the PS3 games at this early stage I guess those PS3 devkits must be pretty fucking sweet to work on if the games look this good already.

Our dev unit is huge, retail unit may not be. It runs cool, retail may not. We have prototype controlers in our hands but can't tell you how long the battery life is; we just wouldn't know how to test something like that.

"" sums up the article rather well.
