A list of classic-grade slashdot comments, those that are ``truly gems'' as CmdrTaco so delightfully nominates them, inspired, posted, modded, and lastly, discovered by me. (-: Slashdotisms and commentary on the science/technology scene that lay broadly in ecclectic majesty and conflict before us which ought to be shelved at somewhere in +6..10. Naturally, a well set array of gems cannot convey true elegence without subtle placements of humor stone.

I only wish I had begun earlier, for feeling some strain of curatorial propensity now, I regret to think how many gems I have passed by without collecting the CID. Records are a necessary and important part of life, documenting threads of cognitive and literal history. And your philosophical perspective is enhanced by recording the source ideas of particular tenets, by returning later to forward the idea or for illuminating re-evaluation.
