Journal dj42's Journal: My first "freak" 8
User: Quantum Jim (610382)
How exciting! I did a brief search and it doesn't appear he replied to any of the comments I've made. Just for good measure, after looking at his journal and seeing something about controlling moderation through FOF, I decided to mark him a Foe.
I gather the premise of this system, but find it strange that people would just arbitrarily add you without mentioning it.
To those ends, I made a post into Jimmy's journal calling some song he posted stupid. We'll see how it goes.

About once a month I defriend and defoe most accounts from my list. I keep a few if I still strongly like/dislike something (s)he did. I figure that I make mistakes and in the long run natural FOAF persistence emerges.
Why I marked you as a foe. (Score:2)
I generally don't mention the reason that I foe or befriend people, since I'm usually very busy. In fact, this post is a modification of a previously posted reply [slashdot.org]. The only reason that I checked is that your post seemed kinda odd. (Why take the time to call a foe's post stupid?) FYI, I think I foed you because of this comment on the SETI and the US government [slashdot.org]. I don't wish to argue about it, though. Eventually I'll probably unfoe you. Sorry if you took it personally!

I reciprocated, but have nothing against you or anything you've ever posted; my reasoning is, that if someone feels they need to mark me as a foe, I must have posted something so disagreeable that we'd never see eye-to-eye anyway, so I return the favor.
What's funny is that for almost the entire time this system has been in place,
