Journal santos_douglas's Journal: 'Track Down' DVD set for US release

SecurityFocus reports that the Kevin Mitnick DVD "Track Down" is finally going to be released in the US on September 28. The film, shot in 2000, was previously only available in europe (under the title's 'Takedown' or the French 'Cybertraque'). The screenplay is based on the Shimomura and Markoff version of events as described in the controversial book "Takedown: The Pursuit and Capture of Kevin Mitnick, America's Most Wanted Computer Outlaw - By the Man Who Did It". As such, the film probably should not be considered particularly realistic, and Kevin understandably does not give it a positive review. Reports also indicate that the story has been hyped even more in the film to fit a standard Hollywood computer thriller model. Details are available on IMDB and Amazon.
