Texas Rose on Lava L's Journal: News for nerds?

Whenever a story gets posted that doesn't fall within some troll's definition of "news for nerds," we see comments saying "hey Taco why are you posting this shit, that's not news for nerds."

Anyway, I just looked at the Hall of Fame, and 8 of the 10 most active stories have nothing to do with news for nerds. It's mostly politics and war. So apparently, most people don't share the trolls' concerns about Slashdot posting stories it supposedly shouldn't.

Oh, and feel free to post offtopic comments here. I don't care.
