pholower's Journal: The mini Slashdot effect

I tried something today that proves how many people really have nother better to do when they are on slashdot.

In my signature, I put the link to my homepage. Now since this is just a personal site. I don't intend on having more than a handful of people go to my site in a day. But in just 5 hours, my signature link brought in over 700 page hits, out of that 236 unique visitors from all over the world.

I am glad my site doesn't contain any tech stuff, else my site might just get featured on slashdot, then all hell would break loose. No telling when I would be able to get my site back up if that happened.
