Journal EvilLiberalGuy's Journal: Shamless Conservative Bashing for Today 3

After hearing that Drudge may have some nasty info on Senator Kerry this morning, I was quite interested in something could get him out of the race and get Edwards or Dean (both of whom I view as more qualified w/less baggage) in the lead. If you can't tell, I don't like Kerry much. Something about him just doesn't seem right, but that's enough of that for now.

Now, for the title piece. From Drudge's latest headline:

After being approached by a top news producer, the woman fled to Africa, where she remains, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.

Okay... I know most conservatives aren't very smart or anything, but at least you should know some geography. I don't know of a country named Africa, do you? Sadly, I'm certain that you would find a significant portion of the US population that would believe that Africa is indeed a nation.

    went to Middle East

    went to South Asia
    went to South America
    even went to North America
    with no exact nation implied.

Odd to quote him as a reliable journalistic source (which will remain to be seen) then try to paint him as stupid. I'm guessing you're a little conflicted about hoping a conservative news source is right.

    • You're probably right, quite a tangled web this is. The thing is, I really dislike Kerry and hope that he doesn't get the nomination. At the same time, Drudge really doesn't seem like that reliable of a journalist. If Kerry is taken down by this, then it might be for the best, at least that's what I hope. It could backfire against the Republicans and give Kerry a boost. That probably doesn't clear things up though, does it?
