Journal smittyoneeach's Journal: So, Veterans Can Drop Dead, But Pandering To Amnesty Crowd Is Cool 17

After punishing WWII veterans by arbitrarily denying them access to the WWII memorial, we get this noise:

Has one single WWII veteran been prevented from visiting the memorial since the shutdown began? Were any of the Honor Flight veterans kept from their Memorial? This story about "veterans dropping dead", I understand that it's just a figment of the Right's demonic dishonesty, but I'm surprised to hear it coming from you.

So, I guess if you're going to avert your gaze, and kinda not notice that the National Park Service [washingtontimes.com] has gone full Gestapo.
I suppose this is much ado about nothing, unless it were a Republican administration.

          • So wait a minute, where is the story that there were veterans who were unable to visit the Memorial because of the shutdown.

Don't be slippery, Smitty, just point us to the story where there were any veterans who went to DC and then didn't get to see their memorial because of Obama, or the Park Service or anything else.

You made a statement about the veterans "dropping dead" and I'm sorry, but it's not the case. The very first group of veterans who came to the memorial after the shutdown found barricades, mo
