Journal FortKnox's Journal: Lay it out for me (Matrix Revolutions opinions, no spoilers) 21
I'm gonna see it tonight. Tell me if you loved it, or hated it, and why. No spoilers, please (which means no reading from ACs, cause they'll try to spoil it).
Most of what I've heard was 'kinda bad' to 'I wish I never saw it.' Anyone have a good or decent opinion??

Honestly, I loved Revolutions. It gave me the kind of rush at the end that cinema rarely gives, and had plently of intellectual layers for later development.
But, while the layers are certainly there in Reloaded, the rush isn't. Or, rather, the rush is neutered by a @#$@!%Ting annoying plot twist... which I can expound upon later, once you've seen the movie. Suffice it to say that

Let's put it this way. A group of us at work took a long lunch to "attend an intrusion detection seminar". One of us trailed off in mid-sentence while walking through the lobby, and we were in silence all the way to the car, when somebody finally said "Holy shit, we're gonna need another three-hour 'meeting' just to debrief!" BTW "The Matrix Reloaded" ROCKED in IMAX. If there is an IMAX theater showing "The Matrix Revolutions" go see it there. I just wish "The Return of The King" was being released in IMAX format.
