idiotnot's Journal: Pay Attention!

Still haven't been able to get the SCSI drive to work correctly. It's supposed to work at 80 MB/sec sync transfer. Running an Adaptec 29160N controller (similar to the standard 29160, but it's only got the LVD/SE 68 pin port, instead of the two 68 pin ports). Controller ID's it as ASYN. It spins up intermittently. You can write to it every now and then. On balance, it doesn't work. I think it's got something to do with the 80-68pin adapter I bought.

Bleh.

Anyone want an 80 pin drive? Cheap!
