It is plainly clear that moderators are abusing their powers, modding things unfairly. Worst of all are the infamous "bitchslaps" and "threadslaps".

The "threadslap" is by definition unfair, as it indiscriminately mods down everyone, no matter how reasonable what they say is. This mass-destruction technique has been shown by the "threadslap detector" one person placed in the Oracle threads. It was a completely on-topic post, informatively discussing technical aspects of the Oracle system, and the security problems. The poster specifically posted this with the intent that it was on-topic, but a child of your post, so that if it were to be modded to -1, it could be definitively said that a threadslap had indiscriminately occurred.

How can the moderators justify their abuse of powers. While moderation is sometimes bad, it happens. But to use moderator powers to silence criticism is simply a dictatorship.
