After reading this article I started smelling something burn, yes I was actually thinking.
Netflix patented the way they rent out Movies. Movie industry is upset about digital media versions of there flick that are freely passed around.
Well... why hasn't anyone thought of the idea of renting out CDs and other things? If they can rent out movies then CDs shouldn't be any different. It's movies without the visual portion.
Of course you might not make money long into the idea since people will by nature make a copy. But you had a large written warning that the material was copyrighted and illegal to copy. Plus you had all your customers sign agreements not to copy the material that they rented. But it's not your job to enforce these regulations, hehe.
So who wants to make a quick million?
