.troll should be a new TLD

I'm watching Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and during guest Andy Richter's segment they joke about a ficticious NBC series called "Goat Sex!". That got me suspicious. Then Conan goes into how Richter, who used to be the staff fluent-with-computers guy, would sneak onto uptight staff members' PCs and save a horrific web image to people's desktop wallpapers.

The rest of society is seeing this thing. A decade (or three) from now it'll be referred to on nostalgia TV. Maybe even depicted.

As a /. newbie, I fell for a couple of trolls with Goatse links. I found it very disturbing. That poor guy.

      yeah, there are like probably 30 photos, various poses and 'toys'. WARNING... WARNING.. not for the faint of heart: http://www.goatse.cx/contrib/gap.zip (I won't even make it clickable). I'm morbidly curious and look at things like this and think, boy, how long did he have to practice for this, where the hell do the rest of his internal organs go when he's playing with his toys, what kind of strange fetish or disorder explains this behavior?

Who would want to look at it again even if it was to pull a prank on someone else?! It's frightening and sick, and I'll just stick to pranks that don't hurt me as much as the victims...

  You don't have to look at it. Just make sure you have another window open between you and the desktop background. Go change the settings, and don't look at the 1" thumbnail.
