Journal marcushnk's Journal: Betrayal! :-[

Got screwed over by my manager today, all because he couldn't keep his mouth shut.
Well. lesson learnt.. I'll not be fwding info through to him again, and he loses out on a very well informed Sys Admin.

I'm a bit pissed with IBM and their Laptop range these days.. I'm trying to keep a standard of "A" series laptops out here and the bastards look like they're going to drop the A seires thinkpad and the closest thing I can get is G series except that that model thinkpad wont plug into a docking station. x-[

Had an interesting chat with one of the IT staff in Vancouver today (via sametime), this person makes the Corp It manager sound like a total wanker..
Wouldn't surprise me.. but seeing as I haven't met him yet.. I'll reserve my judgement (as important as it is :-P ).

I'm hanging out for my new PC thats on its way atm.. Should be here at the end of the week..
