Good Luck to each and everyone of you, and take care of the shark please. Always remember that sharks do bite.

  • Was it his request that you leave, or you were going to leave and he requested you make a formal announcement?
    • I did not ask her to leave. I know her well enought to know that she won't be visiting slashdot anymore.
      She only registred to be able to post. She can stay if she wants. That's okay with me. However, I do not think she will.
      I just asked her if she would at least be nice and tell goodbye to everyone when she leaves.
      • Good. That was my assumption. I didn't think you were the type of person that tell her she couldn't be friends with any of your friends anymore. I'm glad I wasn't wrong about you. :-)
        • I'm definately not that kind of person. You can bet on that. And if she still wants to post here, well, I'll be the first to reply! :-)
          I still love her after all.... stupid me, I should kick that love out of me, but I can't.
  • if you need nerdly/geeky help in the cinci area, don't be afraid to email me (or call me, I should be in the book).
    • Well, it's not as if I'm not talking to her anymore. I can still help, and probably will if she asks me. I always tried to help to the best I could.

      However on-site support is probably better. Probably better than what I can offer. After all, I'm not good enough for her :-(((

      As far as most are concerned, it's just between you two. And this community is big enough for everyone.
      Personally, I feel bad for JtS going through this, but I don't know if it's age (I'm not that old), experience (I'm not that wise) or just plain old 'I don't give a shit-ness' (must be that) but I'm pretty sure this will pass.
      But things change and people move on. Nobo
    • I never said you had to go. You can stay, be my guest. We'll "see" each other enough on ICQ or so.

      I think nobody hates you here... I think they are just like me asking "what the **** happened?".

        Certainly I will not make the mistake to persist in calling someone a geek in any seriously meant way. People like the idea of the computer nerd/geek as it's easy to use as a categorisation filter for putting people in boxes.
