What I love most about the quote is how brilliantly it uses "geek" terminology to discuss urban form. It's a crossover we need a lot more of.

While I think the same way you do, no one I know understands me when I make analogies like that. It's actually fairly depressing to make a very obvious reference, or joke, or whatever and have people treat it literally.
So I agree with you, but I don't think it's going to happen.
