Unpaid parking tickets? Thatâ(TM)s a strip search. And no leash on your doggie? Thatâ(TM)s a strip search too. It might sound weird, and a wee bit terrifying, but thatâ(TM)s the verdict out of the United States Supreme Court this week.

Only a wee bit terrifying? American authorities sure seem to want to see everyone naked these days.

Justice Stephen G. Breyer was one of the four dissenters and argues that, in cases such as this, strip-searches were âoea serious affront to human dignity and to individual privacy.â Thank goodness someone has a little sense.
