I don't see a reason to suspect that you are just out to waste other peoples' time; I think you see yourself as actually here to convey some important message. But there is another error in your post. I never said we should "deny the contract". Privacy of contract is a fundamental right.

Like it not, marriage is presently a legal contract that every human couple has a right to, and it goes way beyond "private" in regulation of custody, visitation, and property rights, etc. And every aspect of the state and public facing business must respect that right entirely, not just for an exclusive set.
