So you admit then that you have absolutely no idea if there is the slightest bit of reality in the claim. We discussed your Forbes link before and how dishonest your claim on it is. The majority of the recipients of the benefits in that article are people who are receiving benefits that they have already paid for (e.g., social security, VA). Pointing to that article again does nothing to provide any support to the outrageous claims in what you posted to in this JE.

I have never made any such claim. While I have had to claim unemployment before (which then was subsequently given back in nearly its entirety to the state in taxes the year after), I do not consider unemployment to be a "virtuous" state regardless of how the unemployment compensation compares to what the same worker has paid in to the fund that it is derived from.

Any system involving people is inevitably going to be imperfect. Please explain how you think ANY system could be otherwise. Or perhaps you buy off on Saint Al Gore's malarky about "our ability to use the rule of law as an instrument of human redemption [nytimes.com]".
