I perform standup comedy.
This is a set from last August.

I'm proud of it. Hate away.
Hopefully I'm not spamming all of slashdot with this. Wait, maybe I hope I am. I can't decide.

Anyhow, I'll never quit the day job if I don't get my name out there, so here I am in embarassing glory.

Not bad at all. The second half, once you got relaxed and into the groove was really good. The only advice I would have is to pad out a little more. Particularly in the first half, you were just throwing those bits away, it that makes any sense.

Oh, and the masturbation joke is awesome and could probably be teased out into its own 5 minute bit if you wanted.

It was actually 12 minutes long. . . I tend to hit hard and fast when I come out of the gate, but their editing made it seem even quicker than it was.

They cut out all my McCain bits, the brand-spankin' new Sara Palin bit (she'd been announced the day before) and chopped off some punchlines from the religion stuff.

Thanks re: narcissism - I like it a lot too. It's tricky territory since Dice has a long-ass bit about watching himself jerk off in a ceiling mirror. It's almost not worth trying to write around
